Hi,I need to thin out a mixture of renwhites icing to make collars.i know I thin it out with merri whites,does anybody know what strength the solution needs to be,ie how much merri white powder to water.thanks

Have a look at the link below, the tutorial shows exactly the consistency your icing should be for flooding work when making collars, http://cakesdecor.com/thewhiteboxcakeco/blog/267. Renwhites is albumen powder with which royal icing can be made, it shouldn’t need thinning out with merri whites which is the same sort of stuff. Hope this helps.
