Numbered 21 cake help

I am making a 21 cake and want to cover with chocolate ganache what is a good receipt to use.
How long will it keep once frosted.

The Shelf life of your cake depends on the type of recipe you are using. Sponge cakes last approx 5 – 7 days. chocolate cakes have similar but some mud cakes can last a few days more. Madeira cake 2 weeks from bake to eat. Information on the shelf life of ganache which you might find useful can be found here:
