I am looking forward to making the chocolate cake but I am not sure if the 150C is for a normal oven or fan.  Please can someone help?

The temperature 150c is for a normal oven. A fan assisted oven would have to be adjusted by approx 20 degrees or according to the hand book instructions. All ovens are different, you would need to experiment with temperatures to gauge what suits your oven best. Hope this helps.

I have a ‘fierce’ oven and I bake my chocolate cake at 135 degrees C. It comes out with quite a crisp top but it softens on cooling!
