I have had a look at mine and it is Rainbow Dust Metallic Food Paint, don’t know if you have a Homesense near you but it is on offer in that store for £2.99…a bargain!

I just got some from cake stuff and it’s called Edible Liquid Colour and it’s made by Sugarflair. Hope that helps!

Hi Guys

Can you please tell me if it paints straight on to white sugar paste or do you need to use a different colour base. I’ve heard you only get it really gold or silver if the sugar paste is black.

Thank you

Hi Demzy

It helps to start with a darker base as white takes up too much colour. I made gold momograms and started with teddy bear brown as the base and grey for silver. I made up several small amounts of each colour and tried the gold and silver until I got the correct shade. I haven’t heard anything about using black but you could experiment like I did with small pieces.
