Hello could you use olive oil instead of veg or rapeseed or would it spoil the taste

Hi Debbion,

It may not be that noticeable underneath the chocolate taste, but I definitely wouldn’t use extra virgin as that has quite a strong flavour. If you have nothing else in the house it will probably do but I wouldn’t use it routinely as it would make for a very expensive cake! I normally use vegetable oil.
