Hello Fellow Cake Enthusiasts,

I have just had an order for a Pirate Ship cake. I am of course going to replicate Pauls metallic Chocolate ship. Can I ask has anyone done this yet, where do I buy 2kgs of chocolate gumpaste??? And even better can I make it and how???

Does the tutorial ask for 2kg of gumpaste which is used for making models and flowers or sugarpaste which is the roll out icing? I haven’t looked at the tut lately. You can make gumpaste, for recipe type in the search box ‘Clark Baxter’ and for sugar paste type in ‘how to make sugar paste from scratch’. Might be worth checking the tutorial to make sure. Hope this helps.

yes you were right it was 2kg of sugarpaste!!! Going to order for this design and definately have a go at making it myself in the future, thank you for pointing that out you saved me!! x
