How do you all find the prices that Paul suggests we charge for the cakes that he makes the courses. I don’t know about you but I live in Bournemouth and am a reasonable cake decorator but I struggle to get anyone to pay anything like the prices he suggests?

I don’t have the answer…but like yourself, am interested in the pricing aspect…….I have been on his Teddy Bear Course, and he felt then it would not be unreasonable for a home baker to charge up to £90 for it……..I have opted for charging £70……… But so far, I seem to be selling 8″ decorated cakes at around the £40-£45 mark……x

Yes I think it is perfectly reasonable to expect to charge these figures for these cakes, we all know how much skill and time we put into them, but there is no way most people in Bournemouth will pay that. I too can sell an 8inch cake for around the £45 mark.
