Hi..I’ve been asked to make a Roberts radio cake. Should I panel the icing or put it on in one piece? Any advice. I’ve googled photos and hard to tell. Thanks

Hi Gucci906 , I’d agree with madeitwithlove .

Panels would probably give you a neater finish. It would be similar to how Paul covers the handbag cake; one long panel to cover the end , the top and the other end , one panel to cover the front and one panel to cover the back.

Hi Gucci906, personally I think panels would look a lot more smarter. Best thing to do is go and have a look at a real one, and then decide which you think would look best.
