Hi All
Does any of you Cake ladies or Gents have a nice recipe for a white chocolate cake to use as a tier in a wedding cake?

There’s a recipe here http://www.cakeflix.com/questions/white-chocolate-cake which was posted by a member, but please have a look at the Fiona Cairns recipe too, leave out the cardamom if you want. I’ve never had any luck with recipes on the internet, they tend to have something missing or just come out sickly. I’ve baked some of the white mud cake recipes and they’ve been dreadful. I would suggest flavouring the white chocolate since it doesn’t have a lot of taste and makes for a very sugary cake. I’ve used a recipe from Nigella Lawson which turned out well. That one was suggested to me when I was looking for one. They are a bit sweet for my liking though. Hope yours goes ok and it would be good to her if you find a winning recipe x

Thanks for that I will have a look and yes I will let you know how it goes……I have a very sweet tooth and I love white choc so sounds right up my street!! x
