I have been asked to make a standing space rocket cake, i am using 5x4inch round cakes, but was worried about the point at the top, i was thinking of rice krispie treats but any advice would be appreciated x

How about using a card cone as shown in the chocolate wrap cake? You could stick it down on a small cake card which you could sit on the top tier of the rocket and ganache as normal. Rice krispies would be good but you’d have to cover it first with a thin layer of marzipan or fondant to smooth out the bumps before the final icing.

Thanks ive not used rice krispies before so wasnt sure xx
