Rose Wedding Cake

Hi,

Can anyone help? I am making the rose wedding cake for my friends wedding in a couple of weeks but I cant get the Diamante branches anywhere at a reasonable price. I can’t buy direct from Culpitt as I do not have a trade account. Does anyone know where else I could get them?

Your help would be appreciated.

Hi Michelle149, when you say branches…do you mean clusters of so many for use as stamens?

Hi Michelle

I bought diamante branches at Hobby Craft – they were very reasonably priced. Hope this helps.

It’s the ones from Paul’s tutorial it’s a metal branch with 3 diamanté on each. I think his had 6 in a pack.

I was in hobby craft but the only ones I could see where all tied up with ribbon, can these just be separated.

Hi Michelle, here is the link to the site on Ebay that sells 6 sprays each 4mm with 3 diamante’s on each spray for £3.95 plus £1.60 postage. If you want more than one, most people on Ebay will be happy to combine postage. Hope this is okay.

Hiya,

I just want to give you all an update. I don’t know where you are based but I managed to pick them up in Flowerscene in Glasgow. £8.99 plus vat for 6 bunches of six which I thought was very reasonable.
