I am planning to apply silver leaf to a cake tier. I believe it’s very delicate and wondered if anyone has any helpful tips.

Don’t use too much water, use a large dry brush (I use a foundation powder brush) take your time and use every little scrap as it’s expensive. Don’t touch the silver and use the backing paper to place it. If you need to cut into strips/shapes on the backing paper.
