Where to recruit sugarcraft experts?

I am having difficulty recruiting sugarcraft experts to produce the cakes we sell. I’d be grateful to hear your thoughts on where to look and place ads. It just seems so hit and miss yet there’s obviously a plethora of talented people out there!

Hi rb

How about placing ads in cake baking and decorating magazines? They all have big readerships and cover the whole of the UK. I see many people on Paul’s facebook who leave their website links, perhaps this could be worth exploring. How about your own facebook? it’s way of getting free wide coverage If you contact the site via the pink tab to the bottom right, I’m sure one of the team will be able to give you good advice.

Hi rb
There is usually a British Sugarcraft Guild in every major city – we even have one here in Aberdeen in the north of Scotland. There is a wealth of talent and knowledge in these clubs. Hope this helps.

Where are you based? I’m sure they wouldn’t mind if you put a call out on here – I’m also part of another forum with people from all over the country, some in business, some just hobby bakers, who may be interested in an opportunity.

Thanks for your help. We are recruiting homeworkers – ideally it would suit housewives who have a family and want to monetize their sugarcraft skills and decorate cakes from their own kitchen during the day. If you know of anyone that could be interested then we’d love to hear from them – please visit www.newcakes.co.uk and go to ‘work for us’.
Thanks!
