worktops

I’ve been thinking about replacing my worktops and had decided on a gloss finish laminate so that it’s smooth and complies with environmental health etc. However, we’ve been offered some money and just wondered if this is the best thing to get or whether it’s best to look at something other than laminate? I wouldn’t want to do the whole kitchen in stainless steel and the money probably won’t stretch to marble!! What do you have?

I have granite worktops which work just as well as marble. The initial investment was for the sugar craft, however, I find it very useful for chocolate work. It’s great for tempering without having to worry about a marble slab. I did shop around and asked a lot of questions, after all quality worktops aren’t cheap, so best advice is take time to decide. We bought from granite worktop specialist.
