Hi

I’m looking at the cake calculator and it says 25 pieces for an 8” cake (1×2” slices).

Would this be a 3” deep cake (so 3xlayers) or is it for a 4” deep cake?

Hi Rachel

That would be yield from a standard 8″ x 3″ deep cake. The data was taken from the original chart based on 3″ deep cakes.
