Hope you are all looking forward to Cake International at the NEC as much as I am. Having just spoken with Paul they will be at Stands F45 and F42. Before I talk about the main purpose of this post – the launch of Carma’s Massa Ticino, I want to tell you a little about what the show holds in store.
F45 will have a number of very special guest demonstrators from the US, UK and Australia and it will be a great opportunity to catch up with the boys (and girls). Members will have the 10% Discount badges with a number of other stalls at the show having agreed to offer the discounts. There will also be a special prize draw for everyone to enter with some very exciting prizes. More on this over the next couple of weeks. F42 is the place to go to find out all about the Accredited Tutor scheme so if you’re interested certainly worth a visit.
On to Carma now. Recently I posted in Q & A the availability of Carma’s Massa Ticino fondant at Windsor cake craft at a very reasonable price plus free postage.
The information post is here.
There is further good news to all fans of Carma. I’ve been informed by customer services at the Cake Decorating Company in Nottingham that they will be launching the Carma’s fondant at the Cake International, Birmingham in November. They will also have exclusivity to supply the coloured fondant as used by Paul in the fabulous Horse Head tutorial in this lesson this lesson.
The cake decorating company are not able to supply prices yet but I understand they will have prices for both available at the show. I know there was a flurry of interest when Paul first introduced the coloured fondant so I hope this information will be useful to all members.
We have all grown up with Renshaw’s who certainly have an excellent range of colours and availability, but certainly worth checking out Carma’s fondant, especially now that there promises to be a range of colours and the price point will reduce with a UK distributor.
